Our Story

People Of the area in and Sheoraphuli were facing much difficulties to enable their wards to render their studies through English Medium as there is at this stage no English Medium school affiliated by any recognized Board in the region in between Serampore to Chandannagar. Keeping this problem in view, sincere efforts were being made to establish an English Medium School in the vicinity of Sheoraphuli which is well linked with other places by road, rail and waterways. ST. JOHN’S ACADEMY (co ed) is the embodiment of such dreams and efforts. The School will supposedly remove the anxieties of guardians willing to have their wards educated through the medium of English, the most useful and an international language.

Mission

Unlike other English medium School, this academy will earnestly try to extract the minimum intelligence of average career with confidence. The School aims at imparting liberal education that helps in developing the total personality of the students and in bringing about all round growth of body and mind.

Vision

The most out-stander feature of the school is started to be the harmonious and integrated living together of the boys and girls hailing from different communities, speaking different languages and having different cultural background.

In the words of APJ Abdul Kalam, "Educationists should build the capacities of the spirit of inquiry, creativity, entrepreneurial and moral leadership among students and become their role model. The prime objective of St.John's Academy School Seoraphuli is to focus majorly on providing a platform to a child so that he learns about his inner potential. The School believes in providing top quality education coupled with holistic growth of a child and aims to create a successful global citizen. In today’s dynamic world when every moment a new innovation in technology is evolved, the School provides ample opportunities to students to innovate and think critically and lead the learning process. We feel very contended after bearing in mind the progress the School has made by imbibing in its students value based education synergized with modern teaching-learning technology to produce a generation of well informed and emotionally sound generation during these years. And I ensure all the parents that in times to come we will continue this journey with all elevated enthusiasm and with determination provide a platform of holistic learning to the young generation of learners. The very competent team at *St.John's Academy School Seoraphuli which is quite professional and possesses expertise in individual fields strive hard to concentrate on each and every child, monitor and mentor them, appreciate their achievement and encourage them to overcome their shortcomings. All the teachers are given equal opportunities to evolve new ways of teaching, keeping in mind the modules of Bloom’s Taxonomy and National Education Policy 2020.
